Eastend Riverside Cemetery

The Town of Eastend and the RM49 of White Valley work together with the Cemetery Board to keep the final resting place for many Eastend former veterans and residents looking groomed and beautiful.

The Cemetery Board is currently exploring various beautification options including the planting of new shrubs and trees, to offer more shade as families visit and decorate the graves of their loved ones.

The Cemetery Board is working on the following projects:

  • An specialist has been hired to digitally map the cemetery. A link will be posted to this page and people will be able to locate graves online. Thanks to a donation from the Hidden Valley Loan Coop, will cover most of the cost for this project, the Board is still looking for donations to cover the balance.
  • The Board would like to mark the graves of veterans that are buried in the cemetery. If you know the name of any veterans, please contact a Board member.
  • Every November/December a Christmas Tree is set up at the Post Office - for a donation of $10, a Christmas Ball will be placed on the tree in memory of a loved one. All proceeds go to the upkeep of the Cemetery.

If you would like to make a donation, have any ideas on how to improve the cemetery, or would like to join the Cemetery Board or volunteer, please email the Board at Eastend Cemetery.
