The R.M. of White Valley No. 49 is accepting applications for a Permanent Seasonal Utility Operator position.

🔧 Position Overview

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the RM Foreman and must be able to work with minimal supervision.

✅ Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
  

• Suitable vehicle capable of towing a municipal trailer and hauling supplies

• Class 1A license is an asset

• Must possess or be willing to obtain (at RM cost, as required):

  • Power Mobile Equipment (PME)

  • WHMIS

  • TDG

  • Ground Disturbance

  • First Aid

  • Industrial Vegetation Course

🛠 Duties Include

• Mowing and rock picking road allowances

• Erecting signs

• Installing culverts

• Weed spraying

• Equipment maintenance

• Other duties as directed

This role requires operation of a backhoe, tractor with attachments, and a chemical spray truck.
