New Digital X-Ray & Laboratory Upgrade Initiative

The Eastend Economic Development Committee (EEDC) is leading a fundraising campaign to purchase a new digital X-ray system and upgrade laboratory services at the Wolf Willow Health Centre in Eastend, Saskatchewan.
This important project has received approval from the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health and the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Once completed, it will enhance local healthcare services and help ensure residents can access high-quality diagnostic care closer to home.
Why This Project Matters
Upgrading to modern digital X-ray technology will provide significant benefits for patients and healthcare providers, including:
- Clearer, higher-quality images for more accurate diagnoses
- Faster access to results and treatment decisions
- Reduced patient travel to larger centres
- Fewer unnecessary patient transfers
- Reduced demand on local ambulance services
By investing in modern diagnostic equipment and improved laboratory services, we can strengthen healthcare in our region and improve patient care for years to come.
Estimated Project Cost: $772,000

All donations are held in trust by the Town of Eastend and are fully tax deductible.
